E192 TEDx Talk on Letting Go with Jill Sherer Murray

Spread the word about Experience 50!

I love TED Talks. My guest presented on the TED stage at TEDx Wilmington Women in 2016. With over 2 million views of her talk: The Unstoppable Power of Letting Go, the world wanted more.

Letting Go Jill Sherer MurrayHer “idea worth sharing” was inspired by her personal story of leaving a 12-year romantic relationship with the man she wanted to marry but who would not commit. She tells of an epiphany moment, on the floor of a stranger’s bathroom, when it became clear that she needed to let go of him, of her fear, and of her investment of time in the relationship.

We all have these epiphanies to leave relationships, jobs, and even beliefs. Fear holds us back.

Jill found her power once she faced that fear and is sharing the lessons in an upcoming book, Big Wild Love: The Unstoppable Power of Letting Go  (May 2020).

In this episode, we first talk about her TEDx experience that day in 2016, how it came to be and what followed. Then we dig into the power of letting go.

Enjoy!
