Later today I’m appearing as a guest on Todd Sargeant’s morning radio show in Australia. Yes, Australia.
Apparently Australian midlifers are just as happy, restless and/or miserable as they are here in the U.S., where I live. The same can be said for Japan, Hungary, Canada and the other 50 countries with active Experience 50 listeners.
The midlife experience is pretty much universal. We sense our own mortality, we are dealing with aging parents, grown kids that need a push from the nest, maybe a teenager still hanging around, and yet we feel something similar to puberty. All excited to try some new tricks.
I’ll report back on what I learn from the Australians. In the meantime, enjoy this kangaroo photo.
